Social media and marketing sales intern

* Candidate must have demonstrated and extensive social media experience.
* Must be able to think strategically about social media and digital marketing sales campaigns
* Minimum requirement: sales or marketing-oriented degree or equivalent with strong online and digital marketing elements
* Must actively participate in a wide variety of social media activities such as blogging, business development and management, social bookmarking.
* Familiar with Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook as well as other social media platforms.
* Must be well-connected with the broader social media world.
* Candidate must be able to think strategically, and be willing to implement the programmes.
* Building Africa investorís social media presence and communities
* Sales lead generation and conversion for Ai digital products and subscriptions
* Monitoring of social media traffic and competition in the industry
* Leveraging trends in social media tools, trends and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing the use of social media at Ai.
* Researching trends in the industry
* Contributing towards the implementation and development of the social media sales and marketing strategy
* Strategise with and educate the rest of the team and others across the company on incorporating relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of Aiís services (magazine, events)
* Measure the impact of social media on the overall marketing efforts
