The Assistant Director will be the main policy analyst and support the work of the Executive Director including the Chairing of the various work groups.Specifically, responsibilities include„Ï Chair the working groups as envisaged in the work plan of the organisation„Ï Facilitating the ongoing participation of the private sector in the current reform implementation process„Ï Providing a focal point for coordinated consultation between the GoSL, broad-based private sector and civil society interests on policy development and implementation on issues which affect the private sector„Ï Demonstrating leadership in the business community to sensitise investors, entrepreneurs, politicians and the general public on important investment climate and entrepreneurship issues to help create a real bottom-up constituency for economic reform

The prospective post holder (i) Must possess at least a Masters degree or professional qualification in a business-related and public administration discipline (ii) Must possess at least 3 years post qualification experience in policy analysis or working in a public-private dialogue or similar entity. Experience of working in Africa will be an advantage. (iii) Must be familiar with donor and government requirements and working practices
