Africa investor to host African Heads of State Investment Dialogue during UN General Assembly

Africa investor (Ai), a leading international investment and communications group, has announced that, in collaboration with the United Nations, it will host the African Heads of State Investment Dialogue profiling the continent’s leadership to the international institutional investment community and African national pension funds on the 21st of September 2012 at the New York Stock Exchange during the UN General Assembly.
This high-level gathering is a joint initiative between the UN Global Compact, UN Office of the Special Advisor for Africa and Africa investor. It is a Heads of State-to-CEO, public-private advisory forum to promote trade and investment in Africa. It has established itself as the leading Africa investment platform running annually alongside the UN General Assembly to engage the global investment community.
This invitation-only event is exclusively for African Heads of State and leaders from the global institutional investment community.
Commenting on the Dialogue, Hubert Danso, Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Africa investor, said; "Building on last year’s Africa investor Dialogue with CEOs and African Heads of State at the New York Stock Exchange, and its follow-up with CEOs during the World Economic Forum in Davos earlier this year, we have developed an interactive framework to collaborate and systematically support African Heads of State and draw on business leaders’ expertise to champion partnerships that increase productive investment flows into and across the continent."
The African Heads of State dialogue will take place during the Africa investor CEO Institutional Investment Summit on the 21st of September 2012 at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
